S.R. 204 Intersection at Henderson Blvd. Cancelled $- $- Roads 1993-1998 Project was proposed to add an intersection to relieve congestion at the entrance to Gateway Savannah near I-95. The GDOT would not support the project. No funds were spent and none are budgeted.

Civil Rights Museum--Phase 1, 2 Complete $2,447,080 01/07/1997 Cultural 1993-1998 Phase 1 included acquisition of property, design and construction/renovation of the Museum, which focuses on the Civil Rights Movement in Savannah. Phase 2 included the exhibit program, funded through the 1995 SPLOST. Addition planned as part of 2003-2008 SPLOST. Besides $1 million funded through the 1993-1998 SPLOST, voters approved $750,000 in a 1995 SPLOST vote for the exhibit program. Other funding came from the Civil Rights Museum Board of Directors and through interest earnings. (460 MLK Jr. Blvd)
